Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Peratta ("we", "us") collects when you visit perattamusic.com, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We keep things minimal — we collect as little as possible to operate the site and stay in touch with people who choose to subscribe.

1. Who we are

Peratta is an independent artist project based in Florida, United States. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@perattamusic.com.

2. What we collect

Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to our newsletter via the form on this site, we collect:

  • The email address you provide.
  • The date and time of your subscription.
  • The source page (so we know the signup came from our official site).

We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or any other identifying information through the form.

Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visitor patterns (page views, referrers, country-level traffic). Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not use any client-side tracking identifiers. It does not collect personal data, IP addresses, or any information that could identify you individually. We cannot identify you from analytics data.

3. How we use your data

Subscription emails are used only to send you:

  • New release announcements.
  • Upcoming tour dates and show information.
  • Occasional studio updates directly from Peratta.

We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. We do not profile, score, or segment subscribers beyond standard email delivery.

4. Where your data is stored

Newsletter subscriptions are stored in a private Google Sheets document, accessed via a Google Apps Script endpoint. Access is limited to Peratta and authorized collaborators directly involved in newsletter delivery. Google's own privacy terms apply to the underlying storage — see Google's Privacy Policy.

The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare on their global edge network. Cloudflare may process technical request data (such as IP addresses) for the sole purpose of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse, in line with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not access or store this data.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose. The only third parties that touch your data are the infrastructure providers listed above (Google for storage, Cloudflare for hosting and analytics), and only to the extent technically necessary to deliver the service.

6. Cookies

This site does not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Your browser may store standard technical cookies required for normal page loading, but none of them identify you or track you across other sites.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete it (and have your email removed from the subscriber list).
  • Export it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe at any time, reply to any newsletter email or write to hello@perattamusic.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are based in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, additional rights may apply under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. We honor those rights on the same terms — just contact us.

8. Data retention

We keep subscriber emails for as long as you remain subscribed. Once you unsubscribe or request deletion, your email is permanently removed from our subscriber list within 30 days.

9. Security

We rely on the security practices of our infrastructure providers (Google, Cloudflare) and follow reasonable measures to limit access to subscriber data. However, no system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you by email without undue delay.

10. Children

This site and our newsletter are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has subscribed, contact us and we will delete the record immediately.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be mentioned in the next newsletter. By continuing to use the site after an update, you accept the revised policy.
